Hope you are doing great brother, As I'm user of this website I would like to share the experience with you that no one can reset their password if someone is stuck on forget password page.. I've tried this myself few days back when I was restoring my ID..
Maybe you didn't setup the smtp server if not then you can use Sendinblue absolutely great I'm using this xenfero theme on my site and using their smtp free and superb.
